Product Description:
A geomembrane by far, very low permeability synthetic membrane liner or barrier used with any geotechnical enginieering related material so as to control fluid (liquid or gas) migration in a human-made project, structure, or system. Geomembranes are made from relatively thin continuous polymeric sheets, but they can also be made from the impregnation of geotextiles with asphalt, elastomer or polymer sprays, or as multilayered bitumen geocomposites. Continuous polymer sheet geomembranes are the most common.
Three methods used to manufacture geomembranes.
Geomembranes dominate the sales of geosynthetic products, at US$1.8 billion per year worldwide, which is 35% of the market. The US market is currently divided between HDPE, LLDPE, fPP, PVC, CSPE-R, EPDM-R and others (such as EIA-R), and can be summarized as follows: (Note that M m2 refers to millions of square meters.)
- (HDPE) ~ 35% or 105 M m2
- (LLDPE) ~ 25% or 75 M m2
- (PVC) ~ 25% or 75 M m2
- (fPP) ~ 10% or 30 M m2
- (CSPE) ~ 2% or 6 M m2
- (EPDM) ~ 3% or 9 M m2
The above represents approximately $1.8 billion in worldwide sales. Projections for future geomembrane usage are strongly dependent on the application and geographical location. Landfill liners and covers in North America and Europe will probably see modest growth (~ 5%), while in other parts of the world growth could be dramatic (10–15%). Perhaps the greatest increases will be seen in the containment of coal ash and heap leach for precious metal capture.

Our project cases:
Pond liner geomembrane is a kind of smooth, high quality HDPE geomembrane liner, which is made of specially formulated original polyethylene resin. This raw material is specially designed for flexible geomembrane applications. The pond liner plastic sheeting contains about 97.5% polyethylene, 2.5% carbon black and traces of antioxidants and heat stabilizers. It does not use other additives, fillers or extenders. The HDPE geomembrane pond liner plastic sheeting has excellent chemical resistance, mechanical properties, environmental stress crack resistance, dimensional stability and thermal aging characteristics. In addition, HDPE geomembrane liner has puncture resistance and tear resistance that are unmatched by other geotechnical products on the market.
HDPE geomembrane pond liner plastic sheeting has the following advantages.
(1)The geomembrane pond liner can improve the efficiency of salvage. By using HDPE liners, the algae and sludge in the fish pond can be isolated to purify the salvage environment and improve the efficiency of salvage.
(2)The HDPE geomembrane pond liner has can reduce the chance of fish getting sick. The anti-seepage function of the commercial pond liners are particularly good which can block the heavy metal in the fish pond, purify the water environment, and reduce the chance of fish sickness from the ring.
(3)The HDPE geomembrane pond liner can reduce the maintenance cost of fish ponds. The HDPE liners can be used in clean water for 20-30 years, thus reducing the maintenance cost of the fish pond.
